Sobre: I’ve taken care of cats of every kind since I was around 11. My best friend growing up always had cats and I've frequently helped care for them for the past 12 years. I’ve also lived with roommates who have had cats for 2 years and have checked in, fed and played with their cat since he was a kitten!

Sobre: I have spent my entire life around or taking care of animals from family dogs to horses and cats I have owned or cared for just about any kind of pet you can think of. I have been pet sitting for over 10 years now and have experience with pets of all ages. I also have experience administering medication and caring for special needs animals. We booked and paid for a 3-night overnight house-sitting stay, but a few days before, she let us know she would not be staying overnight due to a scheduling conflict. That said, she spent several hours each day at the house as her schedule allowed, which we truly appreciated. Her kindness made communication pleasant. While a few care details didn’t go exactly as discussed during our orientation or outlined in the written care instructions, we’re thankful she was there for our kitties when we couldn’t be, and we would consider her support again in the future if she would agree.”

Sobre: In my experience, cats are much more comfortable in their own homes, with visits from a caretaker person. I have had cats and been around cats all my life. I understand cats and won’t push them to be friendly if that’s not the cat’s personality. Kittens are another matter entirely. Please know that if they are destructive or high-energy, that is going to be a problem.

Sobre: I’ve been around cats my whole life through family and friends. I have also fed strays in the neighborhood and used to volunteer at a shelter. I have also been a cat sitter for family friends various times and have always loved cats.
